Brentford stabbing: Cops hunt knifeman after man, 20s, killed and woman in her 80s left critical in horror attack
POLICE are hunting a knifeman after a young man was killed and a woman in her 80s left fighting for her life in a double stabbing outside a pub.
Emergency crews were scrambled to Brentford, West London, after the horror unfolded at around 8pm last night.
One man sadly couldn’t be saved and was reportedly declared dead inside a kebab shop at the scene.
A woman was rushed to hospital with knife wounds and remains in a critical condition.
Locals have now been urged to by their neighbours to “please be careful” as police carry out a manhunt for the killer.
Terrified residents say the attacker struck outside The Royal Horseguardsman, close to Brentford’s football ground.
Police have launched an investigation and confirmed the attack is not terror-related.
A Met spokesman said: “An investigation has been launched after two people were stabbed at around 8pm on Frida in Albany Parade, Brentford.

“One man, believed to be aged around 20 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish his identity. As such, his family have not yet been informed.
“A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
One witness said there are at least 10 police cars and vans parked up at the pub and close to a branch of McDonald’s.
Images and videos posted on social media show dozens of police officers working within a closed-off stretch of road.
Ambulances are parked at the cordon.
The door of the Horseguardsman itself has also been taped off by officers, while the Black Dog Beer House has also been asked to close.
