Theresa May vows to defeat ‘scourge of anti-Semitism' as she fortifies ties with Israel 



THERESA May has vowed to defeat the "scourge of anti-Semitism" in what appeared to be a thinly veiled attack on Jeremy Corbyn, who has been accused of tolerance of bigotry in the Labour Party. The Prime Minister also promised to remain a staunch ally of Israel - while not being afraid to criticise its government.
