'Chequers deal is UNACCEPTABLE' Macron demands new EU exit plans from May by October



FRENCH President Emmanuel Macron has attacked Prime Minister Theresa May and rejected her Chequers proposal at the EU27 summit in Salzburg, branding her plans “unacceptable” while he pledged to “defend the single market” and demanded new ideas from Britain by next month.
