This year it happened to fall on Halloween, but the change always occurs on the last Sunday of every October. Brits received an extra hour, signifying the  end of British Summer Time  (BST) and the start of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). This means the rest of the year and start of 2022 will see lighter mornings and darker evenings, although the hours of daylight will be progressively shorter as we head to the  winter solstice  on December 23, 2021. THE WIDOW of the pilot killed in the Emiliano Sala plane crash today emerged from behind the padlocked gates of her home to welcome the verdict on the man who led her husband to his death over the English Channel. Nora Ibbotson said life had to carry on as normal after the long wait for David Henderson to face justice over the tragic fate of her 59-year-old husband David.
