Lovestruck High viewers all have the same complaint about new dating show
LOVESTRUCK High viewers are all in an uproar over the new dating show, with some even claiming to turn off just minutes in.
The eight-episode long series is the newest reality romance series to hit the small screen, but this love show has a twist – the contestants are heading back to high school.

Narrated by the actress Lindsay Lohan, a group of UK singles looking for love enrol at an American high school.
At the end of the semester, a winning couple will be crowned prom royalty and win the $100,000 prize.
Like Love Island, the show includes bikinis, slow-motion laughter and a spot of smooching, but in an all-new twist, the show is set it an American high school.

“There’s jocks, queen Bs, the nerds,” introduces narrator Lindsay Lohan, reliving her Mean Girls days.
However, viewers have been left cringing at the new show, with the majority of people dubbing it “incredibly fake”.
Taking to Twitter, one person fumed: “Lovestruck High is mental torture in visual form. Avoid at all costs.”
Echoing their comments, someone else vented: “In all honesty, Lovestruck High is the worst thing I’ve ever seen. I’m out.”
While a third remarked: “This new Amazon Prime series is pure trash and I kind of want to die.”
The students range in age from 21 to 30-years-old and, despite being adults, they are under the constant and watchful eye of their teachers.

In the show’s first episode, titled Homecoming, 15 romantics attend the first day of school in hopes of finding their perfect partner.
It isn’t long until they take part in lessons and try to find their date for the first dance of the season.
Lovestruck High is available to stream on Amazon Prime.
