Ukraine-Russia war LIVE: Russian forces 20 miles from Kyiv as battles for key cities rage on leaving 198 Ukrainians dead

A RUSSIAN cargo ship has been SEIZED in the English Channel for ‘violating EU sanctions’.

The Russian cargo ship was intercepted early this morning in the English Channel by French authorities and has now reportedly been seized.

Street fights have broken out across Kyiv, as Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine’s capital.

Videos show fighting across Kyiv, and also in the cities of Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odessa, according to an adviser to the Ukrainian president’s office.

There were also mounting witness reports of artillery and fire in Kyiv throught the night, with reports of two missiles hitting Kyiv as fighting is underway in at least FOUR Ukrainian cities.

Reuters reported this morning that the area southwest of Kyiv has been struck this morning by two missiles, with one striking a residential building.
