February half term is right around the corner and Alton Towers is geared up to provide some fun entertainment for kids in the holiday, as families can enjoy an overnight stay at the resort.

The park is offering an overnight stay at the Splash Landings Hotel, breakfast and access to the Mutiny Bay section of the theme park, which features watery battle ground Battle Galleons, and spinning teacups ride Marauder’s Mayhem.

Visitors will get entry to the waterpark, Sealife’s Sharkbait Reef aquarium, and get a free round of golf on a nine-hole course.

Adventurers can immerse themselves in an interactive adventure trail and families will be entertained by a pirate pantomime.

The offer is available from February 18 until February 27.

The half term entertainment isn’t the only new thing coming to Alton Towers in the coming months.

Three new rides and adventures will arrive at the theme park’s CBeebies Land this spring – although a date hasn’t yet been specified.

Hey Duggee, Andy’s Adventures, and JoJo & Gran Gran will feature throughout the land.

A Hey Duggee adventure land will feature a Clubhouse for kids to visit, where kids can climb, slide and bounce on.

Duggee the dog will also be at the attraction to meet guests, who will be giving out Big Adventure Badges too.

Kids will also be able to visit Jojo & Gran Gran’s house, and interact with them along the way.

This includes meeting Great Gran Gran to help her bake banana bread, as well as visit the garden to learn about the wildlife.

And an Andy’s Adventure attraction will have a huge digging site to discover dinosaur bones and footprints.

Brick Week is returning to Legoland this half term, with overnight stays and park tickets from £50pp.

You can walk up the UK’s tallest rollercoaster as a terrifying new attraction opens.

We’ve rounded up all the new rides and attractions opening at UK and Disney theme parks this year.
