HOW was Liverpool bomber Emad Al-Swealmeen still on our streets?
His asylum claim was rejected in 2014. He was sectioned for waving around a knife.
Yet here, in 2021, he still was.
But for a miracle he could have killed cabbie David Perry and perhaps even mums and babies inside the hospital.
How, with Brexit done, are we still so powerless to deport those with no right to be here — or defeat the left-wing lawyers who take up their cause?
Yesterday Priti Patel, and her French opposite number, vowed to stop ALL small boat crossings in the Channel. How absurd it sounded as scores of young men were filmed setting off in dinghies.
Forget sleaze. Illegal migration will damage the Tories far more.

THE eco morons who illegally blocked our motorways must get proper jail terms today.
Insulate Britain’s choice to inflict misery on drivers and economic harm on the nation was staggeringly idiotic, dangerous and in open defiance of our courts.
One protester reckons ten new loons will replace each one locked up. Yeah, right.
A colleague meanwhile claims “we are hurtling towards ecocide, genocide and our own suicide” without lagging our lofts. No sane scientist agrees.
Another whimpering yob is terrified about jail. What did he expect? That sympathetic courts would cut him a break? Who knows . . . maybe they will.

MODERN Britain, and British sport, is proud to have moved on from the racism of the past.
How appalling that Yorkshire County Cricket Club didn’t get the memo.
The disgraceful treatment of Asian players including Azeem Rafiq was a throwback to the 1970s. If proven to be widespread throughout the counties, cricket has a monstrous problem.
The England and Wales Cricket Board must urgently probe all allegations.
