Celebrate or commiserate your exam results with these fantastic deals

WITH A-level results out today and GCSEs on Thursday it’s important to remember that grades aren’t everything.

But it might feel like they are in your house as students wait nervously to find out their next move.

If you’re getting your results this week, I wish you luck and, hopefully, some of these special offers might help you to celebrate or commiserate . . .

FRANKIE & BENNY’S is offering students the chance to celebrate exam results with a hot new deal for restaurant-goers to enjoy.

Get a slice of the action as the Italian-American restaurant is offering FREE pizza to all students from today until Thursday, August 12.

Just show a valid student ID in the restaurants.

NANDO’S will be giving away a free starter or ¼ chicken on a minimum spend of £7 to all GCSE students picking up their grades, as well as A-level, Scottish Highers & National 5 students on August 10 and August 12.

In what I think is a brilliant move, so no one misses out, Nando’s is opening the offer to 2020 results students, too. Bring your results and student ID to collect the code and then you can order via the “order at table” app.

PIZZA HUT has introduced Beyond Meat pizzas. It’s not just a student offer, which is great news as more young people than ever are turning to meat-free diets.

As part of its £24.99 deal you can get two large Beyond Meat pizzas, two Beyond Italian-style sausage tear & share toppers, ice cream and a 1.5-litre drink — which in total would normally cost £66.44. So you save a whopping £41.45.

HANG IN THERE: If results day means a tipple or two, kind parents might want to think about getting their lot a “Hangover” bedroom bundle from onlinehomeshop.com.

Designed for students, the basic bundle includes a teddy fleece duvet set, fitted sheet, a fleece throw and two bath towels. It’s on offer this week for £30, down from £35, and they can then take it with them to uni.

  • Prices correct at time of going to press. Offers subject to availability.
