They urged people to check their tickets and give them a ring to claim their prize if they have won.

Senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, Camelot’s Andy Carter, said: “What a night for UK EuroMillions players, with 20 ticket-holders each winning £1 million in the special UK Millionaire Maker draw.

“Players are urged to check their tickets and give us a call if they think they are one of tonight’s big winners.”

This week’s winning numbers for the £66 million EuroMillions jackpot were 9, 14, 29, 38, and 49. The winning Lucky Star numbers were 7 and 10.

Every ticket bought for the Millionaire Maker draw has an equal chance of being a winner.

For each line of EuroMillions numbers that you purchase, a random Millionaire Maker number is generated automatically, this will be clearly labelled on your ticket.

Odds vary between draws – giving Brits the chance to win £1 million in each standard EuroMillions draw.

The National Lottery Thunderball winning numbers were: 2, 9, 10, 23, 36 – and the Thunderball was 9.

No-one matched all five numbers plus the Thunderball to win £500,000.

Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot is an estimated £14 million.
