EU Commission Blocks Shipment of Italy-Produced Oxford Vaccine to Australia

The EU Commission has blocked a shipment of 250,000 Oxford/AstraZeneca doses to Australia that were produced in Italy. The Commission upheld a request by the Italian government to block shipment because of AstraZeneca’s failure to honour EU contracts. Guido’s old enough to remember when the EU promised export controls wouldn’t be used to stop vaccines exiting the bloc…
